Building a Fire Tower

Building a Fire Tower is interesting! First you start with a good fire, then, in turn, each "nut" who has had a couple of beers, starts to stack pieces of firewood on top of each other. The contest ends when the tower can't be built any higher or falls!

Watch out for your toes in case of the latter.

Here you go! I sure hope I can do this at 91! Go get them Dad!

Here is our "sister" truck! Found this truck and called Gary & Cyndi and now we have fun camping together! They also are "Heights" dwellers!

Here we are at "Highpoint" in Pa. Every Labor Day weekend, a crazy group of us desend on the mountain top to eat, drink, camp and relax! Did I say drink? This area is called "The Heights"! In english that means the "older" gang! The youngeer group set up tents in "tent city"! They party later into the night!

Ski Adventure

I can't beleive it! I actually got up on ski's today! Haven't done so in 20 plus years! I can still play with the "young dogs"! Not too bad for an ole girl! More about our vacation later!

Oh my goodness! As we drove into Portage County from vacation, the snow started! We got 18 inches of snow overnight and are expecting more! Here's what all of you are missing! This is our hot tub! Guess I have some shoveling to do!

Retirement home

The perfect kitchen! Large, roomy and lots of storage! Every girls dream! Right girls?

We finally found it! We have looked and looked for about 2 years and finally found the "perfect" retirement home! What a beauty! Now all we have to do is figure out how we are going to get it back to Ohio from Georgia! Now all we need is a truck!

Arabian Knights

As some of you know, I am a big horse nut! I try and get around them as often as possible and Carl & I enjoyed the dinner show at the Arabian Knights in Kissimmee, Fl. We sat in the front row and also toured the stables and met several of the cast! Dinner was also great! We recommend this show. It was great! Here are several photos which are our favorites.

Cousin Kurt & Missy's

Cousin Kurt & Missy have a wonderful home and small mini farm. They rescue horses, and at the present time have several of their own and quite a few that are being rehabed! Thank goodness for their devotion to horses! Carl & I enjoyed our visit and hope to see them again when we start to travel!

Cruising with Bob & Midge

Carl & I really enjoy vacationing with his brother, Bob and sister-in-law Midge. This is our second cruise and we had a great time together!

Newest Great Grand Son Ayden

Can't believe it! We are great grand parents! Brianna gave birth on January 14, 2010 at 5:02 pm and weighted in at 6 pounds 9 ounces and is 20 inches long! Mother and baby Ayden Nicholas are doing great!
